Our journey began with a strong focus on empowering adolescent girls and young women, promoting their sexual and reproductive health rights, and addressing the structural barriers that hinder their access to education, health, and economic opportunities. We have been at the forefront of advocating for the dignity and inclusion of vulnerable populations, including children living on the streets, persons with disabilities, and households in Nairobi’s informal settlements such as Kibera and Kawangware.
Beyond urban settings, our reach extends to rural communities, where we have supported smallholder agribusiness groups and facilitated livelihood improvement initiatives in regions such as Samburu and Siaya County. Our grassroots experiences informed our evolution into a more structured, impactful organization capable of designing and implementing high-quality, scalable programs.
Recognizing the need for sustained impact, Owli Africa has integrated capacity building, digital empowerment, and social entrepreneurship into its approach—empowering communities to take charge of their development. We continue to grow as a trusted partner in youth empowerment, community development, and inclusive innovation.
